We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior CE&I Design Engineer. This will be a site-based role in Cumbria, worked over 4.5 days per week, with a minimum of 3 days per week either on Site or in the Office. The successful candidate will work as part of the Silos CE&I design team, providing site-based design front line support to the Commissioning teams, delivering and checking detailed designs/changes to meet functional and business needs.
SC Level Security Clearance is required for this role. Candidates must be British Citizens and passport holders and not have worked outside the UK for the past 5 years.
Essential:- Academic Qualification - minimum - HND
- Professional Qualification - ideally Incorporated Engineer
- Experience: Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Senior Design Engineer
- Experience of working on external multidiscipline projects
- Able to provide site-based front line design support to a Commissioning team
- Experience in delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes
- Must have a working understanding of the following external Standards for PES based Control Systems and Process Instruments
- Effective problem solving, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
- Willingness to support early career Engineers
- Experience of working on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects
- Providing site-based front line design support to a Commissioning team
- Delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes
