We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer EC&I - Control Systems for BEP onsite at Sellafield. BPSS clearance is required for this role.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test.
- Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications.
- Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers.
- Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase.
- Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions.
- Initiation and implementation of FOBs.
- Validation of Working Level Instructions.
- Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA & QUALIFICATIONS:
- SCADA systems, in particular Wonderware 'In Touch'.
- PLC programming of control systems, in particular Rockwell ControlLogix software.
- Control System Network Architecture.
- Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation, configuration, and documentation (working throughout to full QA procedures).
- Nuclear CE&I systems commissioning.
- Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or equivalent.
- Experience in nuclear commissioning.
- Project management knowledge, preferably APM member.
- Calculation production using Excel.
- IOSH Working or Managing Safely.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- ECS Supervisory card.
- Microsoft suite.
