The predicted salary is between 17 - 25 £ per hour.
We are looking for a Building Controller/Technical Clerk to assist BEPDT on a contract basis INSIDE IR35 at £21ph. These are shift roles which will be based on a 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern including weekends and on 12-hour shifts. Candidates can start with BPSS security clearance whilst higher level clearance is being undertaken. You should be British Citizens and passport holders and not have worked outside the UK during the past 5 years.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Building Controller Role:
- Manage the Building Controller pager during your shift and associated tasks
- Opening and closing the building
- Signing in/out with Contractors Control room
- Counting on site numbers and relaying them to Contractors control room
- Completing weekly exercise on a Monday and the paperwork required
- Completing the monthly exercise at the beginning of the month
- Being the Deputy during site emergencies and assisting to run the exercise
- Keeping on top of all necessary paperwork
- Counting and co-ordinating the respirators
- First Aider
- Fire Warden
- Produce, control and maintain Commissioning Lifetime Records
- Copy, scan and store documents within electronic document management system (EDMS)
- Retrieve files as requested by project personnel
- Any other admin duties that are required
ESSENTIAL:
- Experience of working within a Commissioning Document Control department
- Experience of delivering Document Control through SharePoint / Convero preferred
- Understanding of SL document Control systems is a benefit
- IOSH Working Safely
DESIRABLE:
- Building Controllers training course
- 2-day First Aid qualification
- Fire Warden training
