The Flight Simulation Software Engineers will be working on one or more of these software technical areas; Sound Systems Systems Simulation Environment Systems Simulation Visual Systems Vendor Software Roles require Full Lifecycle Design, Code & Test Software Engineers with proven ability in β’ C/C++ programming skills
β’ A good practical understanding of the Systems Engineering V-model and/or the Software Development Lifecycle
β’ An individual with drive, enthusiasm and can-do attitude coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
β’ Demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision
β’ Strong verbal, presentation, written communication and inter-personal skills
β’ An appropriate engineering degree or equivalent (with mathematics, science or engineering) or proven engineering experience in the aviation/aerospace industry. Desirable Skills and Competencies
β’ Experience of safety critical systems and software in aerospace, automotive or a related industry
β’ Web technologies including Javascript, HTML, etc
β’ C# & C++, Python programming
β’ Windows application development using Visual Studio
β’ Knowledge of ARINC, AFDX and/or CAN bus protocols
β’ Atlassian toolset (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
