We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Engineer / Communications Installations Engineer / Auto-electrical Engineer, to assist us in installing the mission-critical Radio Communication systems that are installed within public sector vehicles. You will be required to undertake new build installs and upgrades on a range of Radio Equipment / Communication systems found in a variety of vehicles.
- You will be responsible for the installation of Communications Equipment for new vehicle build projects as well as refreshing the existing fleet.
- You will need to ensure you maintain your spares efficiently and the movement of assets between stock and the designated vehicle to be as efficient as possible.
- Install Radio and Communication systems in primary vehicles.
- Support the business in achieving tight SLAs and project timeframes.
- Be H&S aware.
- Adopt and maintain safe working practices whilst being security conscious.
- Undertake training as and where required.
- Work closely with and collaborate with your peers.
- Be well organized.
