The Role We're recruiting for an HR Administrator to join a well-established FMCG business, working closely with the HR team to deliver an efficient, accurate and professional HR administrative service.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to join a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment, supporting the full employee lifecycle and playing a key role in keeping HR processes running smoothly. The role is offered on an initial 6-month FTC basis, with strong potential to move to a permanent position for the right candidate.
You'll report into the Lead HR Business Partner and provide administrative support across employee records, recruitment, employee relations and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities Process and maintain accurate employee information and system changes within the HR system (SuccessFactors), ensuring records are up to date and compliant with HR processes
Manage the HR shared inbox, responding to routine employee queries and escalating more complex matters to the appropriate HR Business Partner or specialist
Maintain accurate employee files and employee relations (ER) records, ensuring appropriate documentation, traceability and confidentiality; collate information for periodic reporting
Provide effective administrative support for employee relations activities, including meeting note-taking, correspondence and preparation of HR letters
Coordinate occupational health referrals across multiple sites, ensuring services are managed effectively and in line with agreed KPIs
Maintain and update HR documentation, including job descriptions, policies, procedures, forms and template correspondence
Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment and employee lifecycle, including interview coordination, pre-employment checks and onboarding
Support employee engagement and communication activities, including inclusion & belonging initiatives, company updates, recognition and employee forums
Maintain awareness of relevant employment legislation and HR best practice, ensuring administrative processes remain compliant and effective
Produce and maintain HR correspondence, reports and documentation, providing general administrative support to the HR function
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, providing administrative coordination xgikmsk and support
About You CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
Previous experience working in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable
Strong IT skills, with confidence using HR systems
Excellent attention to detail, highly organised and process-minded
Discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Self-motivated, with strong resilience and a proactive approach
Confident communicator, credible enough to advise on day-to-day operational HR queries
