A leading client within the rail industry is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to work on a contract basis at their Salford Crescent site. This role involves carrying out high-quality brickwork as part of ongoing rail infrastructure and station-based works. The position is day shifts only, working 07:30-17:30 Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out bricklaying and blockwork to a high standard
  • Work on rail infrastructure and station-related construction projects
  • Follow site drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and rail industry standards
  • Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth delivery of works
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bricklayer, ideally within rail or civil engineering environments
  • Valid CSCS card (essential)
  • Previous experience working on rail sites is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
