A leading client within the rail industry is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to work on a contract basis at their Salford Crescent site. This role involves carrying out high-quality brickwork as part of ongoing rail infrastructure and station-based works. The position is day shifts only, working 07:30-17:30 Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out bricklaying and blockwork to a high standard
- Work on rail infrastructure and station-related construction projects
- Follow site drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety and rail industry standards
- Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth delivery of works
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer, ideally within rail or civil engineering environments
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Previous experience working on rail sites is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
