Streetworks Coordinator (Freelance)Are you an experienced Streetworks professional looking for your next freelance opportunity? We're seeking a confident and detail-driven Streetworks Coordinator to join a dynamic regional team, playing a key role in delivering compliant and efficient project outcomes.This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of project delivery-liaising with local authorities, supporting project teams, and ensuring full compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA).The RoleAs a Streetworks Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end permit process, ensuring all works are planned, approved, and executed in line with legislation. You'll be the go-to expert for Streetworks compliance, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.What You'll Be DoingManaging and issuing Streetworks permits via the Street Manager system through to completionEnsuring compliance with NRSWA regulations and avoiding potential breachesCoordinating with third parties for road closures, parking and bus stop suspensionsAdministering Section 50 licences and handling Section 74 charges and FPNsMaintaining accurate schedules and tracking commitments and deadlinesResponding to Highway Authority feedback and modification requestsProducing reports on planned and ongoing worksSupporting project planning meetings and programme deliveryMonitoring KPI performance and contributing to continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking ForEssential:Strong working knowledge of NRSWA and Streetworks processesExperience using Microsoft Office toolsExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational abilityAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamDesirable:Proactive approach with the ability to meet tight deadlinesConfidence and assertiveness when liaising with local authorities and project managersTPBN1_UKTJ
