Morson Edge are looking for a Loading Shovel Operator in the Rugby area, to work on an aggregate mixing plant and rail depot, which includes both road and rail material export.
The role will involve operating a Loading Shovel on site, to move and load materials into various bins, hoppers and crushers, ensuring consistent supply of material, including rail export.
Successful candidates will also help to ensure machinery is maintained, stockpiles are managed, ensuring the safe operation of machinery on site. There is also the opportunity to complete cover shifts on other sites, between Birmingham and Banbury.
Applicable candidates ideally will have:
- Previous experience working in a similar environment, such as a quarry or aggregate mixing plant.
- A valid CPCS / NPORS Card for Wheeled Loading Shovel.
- A wealth of experience operating Loading Shovels in a similar environment.
- Fit For Work / Safety Critical medical.
- A valid MP Connect Card (Preferred but can be supplied for the right person).
- An understanding of health and safety regulations within construction aggregates.
- Strong communication skills, being punctual, reliable and a team player.
