As a Production Operative at our clients' Banbury site, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate packing and dispatch of finished goods in line with customer demand. This role requires excellent attention to detail, effective use of ERP systems, and strong communication skills to liaise with transport partners and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out packing and shipping to the highest standard, ensuring all customer specifications and quality checks are met.
- Audit shipments by conducting spot checks on packing and documentation.
- Update SAP systems 100% on-time and accurately to formally despatch goods and maintain up-to-date records.
- Liaise with external approved transport providers, optimising delivery schedules and route planning for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the management of outbound manifests for proof of collection.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to monthly finished goods cycle counts, entering results into SAP in line with company processes.
