A 6-month contract for a Product Manager with a rate of £550 - £700 p/ (inside IR35) is available for remote working. Our client, a fast-growing player in the UK ISP market, is seeking a commercially focused Product Manager to shape and grow their Wholesale & Enterprise telecoms portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the dynamics of B2B telecoms network capabilities, partnerships, channel models, and enterprise demand and can turn market insight into revenue-generating propositions. You will play a strategic, market-facing role defining new telecoms products and solutions, identifying partner opportunities, and supporting go-to-market execution to drive commercial success. This is not a technical/delivery PM role; instead, it focuses on market strategy, proposition development, and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis across wholesale and enterprise telecoms (e.g., connectivity, voice, cloud comms, IoT, security, network services).
  • Identify emerging customer needs across carriers, resellers, MSPs, and enterprise customers.
  • Define the product vision and roadmap for telecoms solutions (e.g., connectivity, Ethernet, IP services, voice platforms, cloud/managed services).
  • Develop new propositions based on network capability and market demand.
  • Build strong business cases including market sizing, customer segments, commercial modelling, and revenue forecasts.
  • Develop pricing strategies, margin models, and commercial constructs for wholesale and enterprise products.
  • Analyse product performance, profitability, and partner/channel uptake.
  • Recommend commercial improvements to drive growth, adoption, and competitiveness.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and channel teams to create effective GTM plans.
  • Support sales enablement, partner onboarding, and launch activities across wholesale and enterprise channels.
  • Work collaboratively on the ideation, development, and launch of new products and propositions that align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate across all business units to ensure a seamless go-to-market strategy, addressing technical, operational, and customer support requirements.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of in-line products and props, ensuring they continue to deliver value to customers and meet business performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization based on customer insights, competitor analysis, and industry trends.
  • Actively manage current systems to ensure a seamless end-to-end journey from product ideation to prop creation and beyond.
  • Own product report and dashboard to ensure constant performance evaluation and improvement.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Commercial Product Management or Proposition Management within telecoms (wholesale or enterprise).
  • Strong understanding of telecoms technologies and services: fibre connectivity, Ethernet, IP networks, voice, UCaaS/CCaaS, IoT, or managed services.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience shaping and launching telecoms propositions, not just managing delivery.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in pricing, modelling, market sizing, and business case development.
  • Demonstrated success working with external partners, carriers, or platform providers.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and analytical ability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across technical, commercial, and executive teams.
