We currently have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Professional working with our aerospace sector client on the Typhoon Repairs order book team based at their site in Samlesbury. As a Supply Chain Professional, you will manage the delivery of aircraft from suppliers for the contract. You will assist and focus on coordinating and delivering Customer requirements within stringent timescales.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, validate and accept incoming Customer orders ensuring due diligence.
  • Support the full end‑to‑end management of order books, including stakeholder management across multiple functions.
  • Manage the order books from receipt of order to delivery, using the systems and reporting tools available.
  • Keep ERP systems topical with latest information.
  • Ensure the effective provision of Order Book Management activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting on any impact on operational/process performance.
  • Be involved in internal and external Orderbook reviews to establish forecasts, shipments and maintain relationships within the reviews with both the Procurement teams and external Customer.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of an Orderbook Management role.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role.
  • Knowledge of the Supply Chain role.
  • Experience with using Infor LN ERP system would be beneficial.
  • Ability to build and foster robust and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and key suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of KPI’s.
  • Outstanding organisational ability and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge with strong Excel skills.
