We are looking for a meticulous and quality-driven Quality Controller to join our clients growing team and play a vital role in ensuring every component, process, and product meets the highest levels of performance, compliance, and reliability. OBJECTIVES & MISSIONS
- Conduct inspection activities (such as measuring, examining, gauging) on products, processes and documentation.
- Comparing these with specified requirements to determine conformity and accurately record the results of these inspection activities.
- Identify and record non-compliance to specified requirements and take all actions necessary to contain affected products.
- Report any Quality concerns or trends with a “Stop at First Defect” mind-set and be an ambassador of this approach within the business.
- Support QN eradication projects as required.
- Ensure all delivered products conform to specified requirements.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Validation of inspection operations in line with procedures and specified documentation.
- Recording of inspection operations in line with procedures and documentation.
- Completion & reporting of Inspection data in support of QRQC reviews & Quality analysis.
- Recording & closing QN's and documents in line with procedures.
- Completion & validation of delivery documentation, as required.
- Work in line with company procedures.
- Other associated privileges (eg, MRB, CDQR, Regulatory Signatory) where delegated.
- Identify & escalate any risks or concerns in relation to product or people safety using the company tools & processes.
SKILLS & REQUIRED QUALITIES
- Time served apprenticeship in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience & capable of reading & understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
- Capability to perform & interpret visual & dimensional inspections using the appropriate equipment.
- Capability to check and complete Inspection & Quality reports & documents (eg First Article / PVI / PPAP, Batch Cards, Quality Notifications, Snag data, etc).
- Meet the minimum requirements for visual acuity with or without correction.
- Knowledge of rules allowing the closure of rework or repairs together with inspecting the quality of work and information.
- Capability to complete the required delivery documentation packs and knowledge of the source of this information.
- MRB Delegation as required by the business.
- Regulatory Release delegation as required by the business.
- Knowledge of customer procedures and requirements.
- Knowledge & competency to complete relevant checklists and inspection reports.
- Knowledge of relevant customer acceptance criteria.
Tools:
- Must be comfortable using computers and relevant software packages (eg MS office, SAP, Adobe).
- Knowledge of relevant company procedures and processes.
Communication:
- Capable of communicating clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to escalate at the right time and to the appropriate level.

24 months contract temp to perm for the right candidate. Rates £20.92 PAYE plus holiday pay £3.04 per hour or Umbrella £27.80 per hour. Reports to | Process Manager or SQA Manager.
