About the Role

At Morson Praxis, we are actively building a virtual bench of experienced EPR Business Analysts to support a growing pipeline of work across NHS Trusts. We are seeing increasing demand from organisations—particularly Community and Integrated Care Trusts—for support across EPR programmes, optimisation, and deployment, with a strong focus on systems such as Alcidion and Nervecentre. As a result, we are engaging with experienced consultants now ahead of upcoming programmes. Morson Praxis regularly supports NHS organisations across EPR delivery, digital transformation, and data readiness, and we expect this demand to accelerate throughout 2026.

What You'll Be Doing

As an EPR Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the successful delivery and optimisation of EPR systems within NHS environments. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Leading requirements gathering and documentation for EPR implementations
  • Engaging with clinical and operational stakeholders to map AS-IS / TO-BE processes
  • Supporting deployments of Alcidion and/or Nervecentre EPR solutions
  • Facilitating workshops, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews
  • Producing user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
  • Supporting clinical workflow design across community, outpatient, and inpatient settings
  • Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful system configuration and delivery
  • Supporting UAT, training, and go-live activities
  • Ensuring alignment with clinical safety and NHS governance standards
  • Contributing to data quality and EPR optimisation initiatives

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with consultants who have:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on NHS EPR programmes
  • Hands-on experience with Alcidion and/or Nervecentre systems
  • Strong understanding of Community Trust workflows (highly desirable)
  • Experience working across EPR implementations, upgrades, or optimisation projects
  • Ability to engage and influence clinical stakeholders (nurses, clinicians, AHPs)
  • Experience producing high-quality BA artefacts (user stories, process maps, requirements docs)
  • Knowledge of NHS governance, clinical safety, and IG frameworks

Why Join the Morson Praxis Bench?

  • Be first in line for upcoming EPR programmes across the NHS
  • Work with a consultancy that already supports multiple NHS Trusts on EPR delivery
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact digital transformation programmes
  • Access to Outside IR35 contract opportunities
