Location: Portsmouth or Glasgow Naval Base
Contract Length: 12 months

Rate: £23.39p/h PAYE (£26.79p/h inc. holiday rate) OR £31.36 p/h Umbrella
Role Summary:
Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) support across engineering projects, applying established tools and processes to analyse support requirements, supplier data, and maintenance solutions. The role involves developing practical, cost-effective support outputs while working with a high degree of technical autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and review supplier, maintenance, and internally generated support data
- Apply ILS techniques to define and resolve support requirements and issues
- Conduct analysis of maintenance tools and test equipment requirements
- Produce ILS deliverables in line with contractual, cost, quality, and schedule requirements
- Develop and document procedures and process instructions
- Plan and manage own workload to meet programme demands
- Validate work produced by other engineers and support their technical development
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Provide coaching or mentoring to less experienced engineers where required
Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience in ILS / support engineering within large mechanical or electrical engineering projects
- Understanding of support analysis techniques and supplier-generated data
- Exposure to naval, marine, or service environments is desirable
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office tools
