An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a major UK infrastructure and environmental services organisation on a 12-month contract. Working within a specialist team, you'll play a key role in supporting environmental compliance activities, maintaining critical business data, and ensuring regulatory information is accurate and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and confidence working with large datasets.
You'll gain exposure to a highly regulated environment, work with a variety of stakeholders across the business, and contribute to projects that support environmental performance and sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to a specialist compliance and permitting team
- Maintain and update internal databases, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and applications
- Produce reports and management information as required
- Ensure corporate data is accurate and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Attend internal meetings and provide administrative support, including documentation and follow-up actions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments to support wider business objectives
- Support data management activities and ensure information is maintained to a high standard
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of changes
We're looking for a highly organised administrator who enjoys working with data and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
Essential Skills & Experience- Strong administration, planning and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with data, databases, spreadsheets, or large datasets
- Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate information clearly
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, SharePoint, Teams and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Confidence identifying process improvements and helping drive positive change
- Experience using Power BI, SharePoint, GIS or similar reporting and data management tools
- Experience working with large volumes of data and producing reports
- Knowledge of Power Apps and other Microsoft Power Platform tools
- Previous experience within a regulated, environmental, utilities or compliance-focused environment
- 12-month contract with a well-established organisation
