Morson Talent are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Engineering Scheduler / Service Coordinator to join a busy operational team supporting engineering and maintenance activities.
This role would suit someone with a mechanical or engineering background looking to move off the tools into an office-based role, or someone with previous experience in scheduling, coordination or operations support within an engineering environment.
The Role
- You will support the planning and coordination of engineering works, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and operational reports are reviewed and updated accurately.
- The role requires someone who is organised, IT savvy and confident working with systems, reports and operational data.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating engineering and maintenance works
- Reviewing, updating and analysing operational reports
- Coordinating engineers, resources and job allocation
- Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
- Maintaining accurate records and system updates
- Supporting reporting and operational improvement activities
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical or engineering background preferred
- Experience within scheduling, planning, service coordination or operations support
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- Experience using Dynamics or Business Central would be advantageous
- Comfortable reviewing reports and working with data
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
