Our marine client based in Poole is looking for experienced Mechanical Assemblers to join their growing team. Role Overview:
The purpose of a Mechanical Assembler is to assemble components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, to create mechanical parts and products. This role involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings and diagrams, as well as using measuring and testing instruments to ensure parts are assembled correctly. The Mechanical Assembler must also ensure that safety protocols are always followed and that products are assembled to the highest quality standards.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies to produce complete products.
- Use of hand tools and light machinery to assemble components.
- Fit components and check for accuracy and quality.
- Work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
Knowledge and Experience:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly. Good manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. This role is being offered on a permanent basis; however, contractors may be considered.
