Our marine client Rivencore are looking for Electronic Technicians to join their growing team based in Poole.

Role Overview:

To manufacture basic cable assemblies/harnesses to a very high standard. When required, assist with wiring and mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies, enclosures, and racks all to MOD and IPC620 standards.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • To work within a team or on an individual basis.
  • Cable assembly and looming using lacing and other cable accessories.
  • Assist with wiring of sub-assemblies/enclosures to process instructions.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping.
  • Working safely within an ESD protected area.
  • Maintain tooling, using shadow boards.

Qualifications/Key Attributes:

  • Good communication skills at all levels.
  • Is self-motivated and can work as part of a team or on own initiative.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring you conduct your tasks safely and report any hazards or near misses.
  • Actively promote a safe working culture within Rivencore Global Solutions.
  • Maintain COSHH practices, when required.
  • Undertake other duties as may be reasonably expected from time to time.

Personal Attributes:

  • Good attention to detail, ensuring information is accurate and procedures are followed.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least one to two years of knowledge and experience of working in the industry.
  • Fully competent in 95% of level 1 skills within the skills matrix (desirable).
  • Preferably IPC 620 trained and up to date.
  • Good Knowledge of company standards.

Education and Qualifications:

  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification desirable or qualified by experience.
