About the Role:
Highly reputable organisation currently building a high-impact Data & AI capability and are looking for a Senior / Principal Palantir Engineer to help shape and scale their platform from the ground up. Exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and operational systems, designing solutions that directly drive business decisions and real-world outcomes. You will play a key role in delivering enterprise platforms using Palantir Foundry and AIP, working closely with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and leadership.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions on Palantir Foundry
- Build data pipelines, ontologies, and operational applications
- Develop data products and decision intelligence tools used day-to-day
- Translate complex operational problems into scalable technical solutions
- Contribute to platform architecture and engineering best practices
- Work closely with stakeholders to drive measurable business value
- Mentor engineers and support the growth of the wider capability
What We are Looking For:
- Proven experience working with Palantir Foundry in production environments
- Strong engineering background with expertise in at least one of: Python, SQL, PySpark, or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures & distributed systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience building:
- Data pipelines & transforms
- Ontologies and data models
- Operational workflows / application
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with Palantir AIP or AI-enabled workflows
- Exposure to LLMs or agentic AI systems
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience leading teams or technical workstreams
- Background in engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, defence, or regulated industries
- UK Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility
