We're looking for a Junior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing team based near Prestwick Airport. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in fibre, structured cabling or telecoms infrastructure who wants to broaden their skills and develop into a wider network infrastructure role. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and receive support and mentoring.
What you'll be doing:
- Tracing and documenting the existing fibre network across a large site
- Identifying cable routes and connections
- Supporting fibre and copper cabling work
- Testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Working with comms cabinets, racks and patch panels
- Supporting wider network infrastructure projects and upgrades
