Morson have a great opportunity for an experienced Oracle Fusion functional consultant that has a background in HR and Payroll. Ideally, you will have worked from a local government setting. The programme is firmly focused on delivering value through configuration of standard Oracle Fusion Cloud functionality, avoiding customisation wherever possible and aligning to Oracle Modern Best Practice.

Key areas of the role will be:

  • Conduct detailed requirement reviews with HR, Payroll, Finance, ICT and operational teams.
  • Analyse current pain points identified through the improvement roadmap and operational feedback.
  • Propose configuration-led solutions aligned to Oracle Modern Best Practice.
  • Clearly identify configuration versus extension requirements (including Groovy, Fast Formula, OTBI, Visual Builder and HDL/HSDL where appropriate).
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and Oracle's Modern Best Practice.
  • Hands-on configuration experience including:
    • Workflows and approvals
    • Fast Formula
    • HCM Actions & DFFs
    • BI Publisher reports & bursting
    • OTBI dashboards
    • Payroll elements & retro processing
  • Ability to turn business pain points into clear, deliverable configuration items.
  • Strong experience in documentation, testing and change management.
  • Technical and Functional experience in Oracle Fusion cloud.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud improvements.
  • Collaborative, with a commitment to building internal capability and reducing long-term dependency on external support.
