Overview
3-6 month contract. Home based with 2 days required in the office in Mansfield plus 1-2 days travelling to site. Hourly rate equivalent to £50k-£54k including car allowance.
We are currently looking to recruit for an Operations Project Manager for our client who is a major UK water company. Working closely with their team in Mansfield, with travel across the UK also necessary, you will drive internal improvements on water and waste water sites.
You will be responsible for Asset Management, with a full review of all planned preventative maintenance works across the whole portfolio as one of the key deliverables of this role. You will also work with the Operations Lead to develop and drive improvements for areas such as target price quotations, price lists and supply chain contracts.

- Drive internal improvements on water and waste water sites, working closely with the team in Mansfield and with travel across the UK.
- Asset Management: conduct a full review of all planned preventative maintenance across the entire portfolio as a core deliverable.
- Collaborate with the Operations Lead to develop and drive improvements for target price quotations, price lists and supply chain contracts.
What you’ll bring to the role / Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of NEC contracts and ideally have a background in asset management and/or operate and maintain management.
- It would also be beneficial if you come from an M&E project manager background. Water industry experience is preferable.
- There’s a need for a big Health and Safety focus in this role, so you will need a minimum of IOSH managing safely and as travel is required, you’ll also hold a full UK licence.
