Morson Edge are recruiting for a Workshop Fabricator to support the F-35 programme at RAF Marham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision Aerospace environment, supporting the manufacture and modification of aircraft components on one of the most advanced platforms in service.
The Role
- Fabricate, modify and repair aircraft components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Work with materials including aluminium, titanium and steel.
- Operate hand and power tools including guillotines, folders, shrinkers and forming wheels.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to support maintenance activities.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant procedures, standards and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in Fabrication, Sheet Metal or a related discipline.
- Strong practical experience in sheet metal fabrication and structural repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience within Aerospace or Defence environments preferred.
- High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
