Morson Edge are recruiting for a Workshop Fabricator to support the F-35 programme at RAF Marham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision Aerospace environment, supporting the manufacture and modification of aircraft components on one of the most advanced platforms in service.
The Role
You will be responsible for fabricating, modifying and repairing aircraft components, working to engineering drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality parts in line with Aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, modify and repair aircraft components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
- Work with materials including aluminium, titanium and steel
- Operate hand and power tools including guillotines, folders, shrinkers and forming wheels
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to support maintenance activities
- Maintain compliance with all relevant procedures, standards and regulations
What We're Looking For
- Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in Fabrication, Sheet Metal or a related discipline
- Strong practical experience in sheet metal fabrication and structural repairs
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience within Aerospace or Defence environments preferred
- High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
