Storage & Backup SME/Infrastructure Engineer, ideally with current DV Security Clearance/SC Security Clearance or have the ability to undergo clearance is required to support our security and defence client.
The Storage & Backup SME/Engineer will be responsible for providing support for enterprise storage and data protection platforms, with a focus on Veeam and physical storage technologies. The resource will support backup, restore and disaster recovery capabilities, assist with platform optimisation and ensure data protection services meet operational and compliance requirements.
- Extensive experience with Veeam Backup & Replication
- Strong knowledge of NetApp storage platforms
- Knowledge of backup, restore and disaster recovery design and testing
- Experience of Data protection in secure and regulated environments
- Experience with capacity planning and performance optimisation
- Understanding of backup encryption, retention and compliance requirements
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) and/or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Proven experience supporting enterprise backup, restore and storage platforms
- Current DV Security Clearance/SC Security Clearance or the ability to undergo security clearance.
6 month initial contract with scope to extend. Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site in Milton Keynes - £480.00 per day inside IR35.
