Location: Client offices at Houghton le Spring, 2-3 days per week and week balance remote working

Status: CONTRACT INSIDE IR35

Duration: Approved until 31 Dec 26 (renewable)

Morson Edge are working with a major player in the Renewables Sector who have a current requirement for a reliable and proactive Document Controller to oversee and enhance their document control processes. In this role, you will manage the Business Management System content, inclusive of document workflows using Power Automate and ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.

Typical Activities:

  • Administer the MyBMS (SharePoint) approval process, ensuring efficient document management.
  • Support the development of a business management system and standardisation initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate project control systems for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate on the enhancement of Power BI dashboards for better document tracking.
  • Train and support team members on MyBMS and document control processes.
  • Facilitate communication among project teams regarding document management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all document management inquiries.
  • Analyse industry benchmarking data to drive internal improvements.
  • Provide regular updates on document status and ensure quality standards are met.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in SharePoint based document control and management systems.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in document management software and dashboard tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
