Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a world leading global aerospace manufacturing organisation in Belfast as an Engineering Production Scheduler. The role will be responsible for the planning and management of all transactional elements of parts supply including internal and external customers to ensure that the master schedule is achieved, maintained, and utilised assets optimised.
Rate(s): Standard pays £29.00 per hour umbrella or £21.68 per hour PAYE. Entitled to paid overtime over 35 hours at a premium rate – 25% Mon-Fri and 50% Sat-Sun. £27.10 for any O/time Mon-Friday or £32.52 for any O/time Sat-Sun (PAYE). £36.25 for any O/Time Mon-Fri or £43.50 for any O/Time Sat-Sun (Umbrella).
Duration: 6-12 months initially (scope for extension).
Hours: Working 36 hours per week, Mon – Thurs 8.15am - 4.45pm & Fri 8am-12pm (start / stop times may vary slightly).
Responsibilities:
- The accurate & timely reporting and governance of supply chain data to the Operations team.
- Communication of Parts Supply Enablement profiles.
- Maintain operational systems to the highest levels of data accuracy.
- Provide governance and visibility to the Operations Team and work in tandem with the SCM Execution team regarding Schedule, Capacity planning and Inventory Management including Kitting and System Data Accuracy.
- Parameter management to ensure optimum utilised assets.
- Work in and support a Natural Team.
- Provide and analyse forward load and capacity plans to ensure success, including Line of Balance updates.
- Timely Delivery of Parts to Shopfloor and External Customers.
Skill Set:
- Prior production scheduling experience essential.
- Knowledge and experience of MRP Planning System.
- Must demonstrate a basic working knowledge of related Supply Chain processes.
