Rate: £76.98 UMBRELLA

Typical duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Support Vigilant lead HFI specialist in the conduct of human factors activities and integration of HF into the TRINITY design
  • Work with end user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials and User-Centred Design activities
  • Assess prototypes/mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions
  • Conduct analyses such as task analysis, human error analysis, usability and workload assessments
  • Support Integration Testing and verification activities
  • Produce reports and input to customer deliverables.

Knowledge:

  • At least five years' experience of applying Human Factors methods in defence or a safety-critical industry

Skills:

  • Experience applying Def Stan 00-251 and working within a multi-disciplinary team on complex system integration and development projects

Qualifications:

  • A recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology or Engineering (with specific Human Factors Experience)
  • Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body)
