Anderselite are offering an opportunity for someone eager to join a Cardiff based team and an individual with proven technical capability and experience in delivering projects. You will have significant experience and be able to run several projects on site at the same time, clearly delegating to less experienced team members. Their work ranges across public and private sector, from inception to completion with values ranging from £1m - £50m+.

As a Senior Technician/Technologist you will:

  • Lead project teams and write full specifications.
  • Regularly lead or manage small teams internally.
  • Be flexible in your approach to a project.
  • Work on a range of projects within a multi-sector studio.
  • Share experience and knowledge with others working on projects across the company.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Run multiple or complex projects from start to finish, to the satisfaction of the client, in profit and on time.
  • Take the lead role in taking a project brief, developing initial proposals and detailed design (in conjunction with a small team).
  • Manage fees and invoicing for projects (with administrative assistance).
  • Produce, analyse and advise upon specification, materials selection and detailed design solutions in relation to performance and production criteria.
  • Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements for large and complex projects, possibly multiple projects.
  • Manage the design process or development of construction projects.
  • Monitor the financial performance of projects.
  • Have a working knowledge of Revit and healthcare project experience.
  • Assess and prioritise the needs of clients and users and agree the project brief.
  • Advise clients on methods of project procurement and forms of contract.
  • Develop the project design, researching problems and producing, developing and advising upon innovative solutions.
  • Appraise building performance in use and produce, develop and maintain maintenance management information systems.
  • Utilise advanced use of Revit with knowledge of Dynamo scripting.
