Morson Talent require two experienced Shift Technicians, who are experienced Multi-skilled Engineers/ Elec bias to join a leading Mechanical, Electrical and property maintenance company based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading building facilities maintenance company, on either a temp to perm or just on a long-term contract basis. You will be working at a well-known London landmark, with easy access to all rail links. This role requires someone who has good client facing / customer service skills.

- Umbrella Β£31.00 - Β£32.00 per hour

Duration β Long term contract and opportunity for the role to go permanent, for the right candidate.
Shift pattern β days and nights shift β 4 on then 4 off rota, must be available to work night shift β Continental shift pattern.
Hours β 7am to 7pm then 7pm to 7am
Purpose of role: To carry out PPM's & reactive works to building plant. Undertake minor installation works, repairs to building fabric, and handyman duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Building Management System alarms and fix / attend emergency repairs
- Good customer service skills
- Experience in building services maintenance within a critical environment ideally but not essential
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical / Electrical Services and associated systems
- A key factor in the Shift Technicians role is communication, it is essential that the details of all plant problems / failures are communicated to Shift Leader immediately especially if it will affect the client's business.
- Ensure that all plant and BMS checks are completed on time, and all problems found are recorded and communicated to the Shift Leader
- Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance housekeeping.
- Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all related reactive maintenance issues, associated with the electrical infrastructure and the heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work and associated mechanical systems or as directed.
- Repairs of electrical and mechanical systems, controls and associated systems.
- Previous experience working within a critical environment would be an advantage
Qualifications: Must have Electrical qualifications, including City & Guilds and either 17th or 18th Edition is essential, for this role. The ideal candidate must be available to start next week.
