About Position
As a result of their substantial growth, we currently recruit for the Operations Director who will oversee day-to-day operations, managing staff and resources, setting goals and budgets, evaluating performance, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring the overall success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting strategic goals and making decisions for operational activities to drive the overall growth and profitability of the company.
- Supervising and managing staff from different departments to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Evaluating the efficiency of existing business procedures and implementing improvements to optimise productivity.
- Managing the operations budgets to make informed decisions and enhance profitability.
- Data analysis and strategic planning to optimize processes, growth and efficiency.
- Communicating policies and directives to managers and staff and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identifying ways to enhance customer service and satisfaction, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering essential.
- Extensive operations management experience +10yrs.
- Significant industry experience in continual improvement methodologies and/or lean 6-sigma to improve processes.
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles e.g., warehousing, logistics, finance, HR, customer service etc.
- Analytical skills to evaluate data and performance/operation metrics.
- Excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
