We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrical Tester to join a growing team, carrying out testing, inspection, and maintenance works across sites in and around the Hampshire or Kent areas. This is a permanent position suited to a qualified electrician who is confident working independently on commercial and industrial sites.
Role Overview:
- Working from electrical drawings and schematics
- Testing and inspecting electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
- Installation, maintenance, and assembly of electrical equipment
- Completing digital reports and electrical certification
- Attending sites for both reactive call-outs and planned maintenance
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience in electrical testing, maintenance, and installation
- A time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (or equivalent)
- Experience working on commercial and industrial LV systems
- Technically proficient / IT literate
Working Expectations:
- Comfortable working independently on site
- Able to manage workload across multiple locations
- Flexible and responsive to reactive fault-finding requirements
- Full UK driving licence preferred (due to mobile nature of role)
