My client is looking to appoint a Concrete Plant Supervisor on a temporary basis, which for the right candidate, will go into a permanent role. The role is based in Motherwell and the client is looking for the successful candidate to supervise and operate a RMX plant.
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties
- Managing contractors that visit the site
- Operate the concrete batching plant, following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Receive, process, and check raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water, etc.)
- Oversee the batching process to ensure accurate mixing and delivery of concrete
- Carry out necessary tests and quality control measures on the concrete mix
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including daily housekeeping and maintenance of the batch plant and equipment
- Undertake regular safety checks and inspections of the batching plant and equipment
- Must have experience of running a ready-mix concrete plant
- Experience of concrete batching
- Experience of Contractor management
