EUC Hardware Engineer with current DV clearance is required to support our secure government client to provide hands-on hardware support within a classified environment.
The EUC Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of hardware assets, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant delivery of IT hardware services. You will work closely with internal technical teams and end users to support business-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Build, configure, deploy, and support laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices
- Diagnose and resolve hardware faults to minimise downtime
- Manage hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, including secure disposal
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards
- Support on-site users within a secure / classified environment
- Maintain accurate asset and service records in line with ITIL processes
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues across laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
- Knowledge of hardware architecture, component compatibility.
- Knowledge of secure hardware handling practices, including data sanitisation and destruction protocols.
- Ability to work within strict compliance frameworks.
- Experience in hardware installation, configuration, and lifecycle management in enterprise or government environments.
- Previous work in secure or classified environments, adhering to strict data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Experience with secure disposal of data-bearing devices in compliance with organisational and legal standards.
- Track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated hardware solutions.
- Experience managing hardware assets within ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
- Current DV clearance or the ability to undergo DV security clearance.
6-month contract with scope to extend. Full time on site in Milton Keynes. Inside IR35 - £354.00 per day.
