We are recruiting for a Control Electrical Manager to lead the CE team at our Middlewich site and support the CE agenda across the wider business. You will play a crucial role in leading governance and expertise across a full range of Electrical and Control Systems and equipment ensuring continuous improvement, adherence to and development of all CE policies, standards and procedures.

You will take the lead in driving operational excellence across the CE Team. You'll work closely with planners and stakeholders to ensure CE maintenance activities are planned, resourced, and executed safely and efficiently.
Through strong coaching and hands-on leadership, you'll support the CE team by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
Fulfil the role of Control & Electrical Duty Holder for the Middlewich sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company standards, and engineering procedures.
Maintain governance arrangements for electrical and control systems, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed.
Liaise with other senior Control & Electrical Duty Holders across the business to promote consistency, share best practice, and develop and maintain CE standards, procedures, and engineering practices to support operational excellence.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all Control & Electrical activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures, permit-to-work systems, and isolation standards and provide technical expertise and leadership across all electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
Coach and support the CE Supervisor and Senior Technicians, ensuring effective leadership, knowledge sharing, and visible engagement with frontline activities.
Lead the daily management of Control & Electrical work activities through participation in Tier 3, planning, and scheduling meetings.
Collaborate with the Planning Engineer to ensure all planned maintenance activities are appropriately scoped, prioritised, resourced, and prepared ahead of execution.
Evolve the the CE Team to work efficiently and effectively in a manner that focusses on Quality of work, Accurate Data Recording and in line with rigorous SOPs and the ALCOA++ Principles in accordance with MHRA accreditation, extending this culture to the rest of the plant.
Manage internal and external resources (Contractors) to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance and project activities, ensuring they work in accordance with site safety, quality, and technical standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will have an Electrical engineering Degree (or equivalent) with Significant experience in Electrical engineering and maintenance management.

Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and understanding of Statutory Electrical Standards
In depth electrical expertise and experience. xiskglj
Proven experience of managing and developing CE teams/projects

Worked in a chemical manufacturing company
Knowledge of Works Management systems
Knowledge of Process Computing Technologies
Knowledge of Drives, PLC's and Electrical Infrastructure
