Are you looking for a mechanically bias project manager role, working for a company involved in the UKs top projects! An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Operations Manager to join a market leading principal MEP contractor company working on local projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management and site operations across 5-6 projects simultaneously
  • Collaborating with electrical operations manager part to ensure smooth running of project delivery
  • Delivering MEP installation services to new build sites worth £1m - £20m
  • Work with wider commercial teams within the business to help with maximising profitability
  • Ensure contracts are completed within timescales and budget
  • Ensure works are carried out safely and that reasonable and practical measures are taken to maintain the safety of all involved
  • Financial management of contracts, variations etc.
  • Manage competence and individual performance within the team
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeated business
  • Maintain company standards in terms of quality and time

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a contracting environment, 5 of which should be management level
  • Ability to prioritise workload to ensure the management process is optimised
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems in the high-rise sector
  • Strong communication skills both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of managing wider management teams
  • SMSTS and First Aid would be an advantage
