We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined Millwright to join a manufacturing site in the UK on a temp to perm basis. This role is well suited to candidates with a hands-on manufacturing background who are keen to develop their skills and progress into a permanent position.
Job Type - Temp - Perm
The successful candidate will receive full on the job training, with performance and suitability for permanent employment assessed during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting manufacturing operations through mechanical maintenance and assistance
- Carrying out basic mechanical tasks and fault finding
- Assisting with equipment setup, adjustments, and general upkeep
- Working safely in line with site procedures and health and safety standards
- Supporting the wider team as required across production and maintenance activities
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Mechanically minded with a practical approach to problem solving
- Willingness to learn and be trained on the job
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kilos
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work well within a team
