We are seeking a highly capable Freelance PMO Coordinator to support the delivery, transition, and mobilisation of a major Hard and Soft Facilities Management contract for a key UK Government department. This critical role involves managing day-to-day PMO operations, standardising processes, and ensuring adherence to delivery practices across multiple programmes. You will lead the delivery programme to develop and implement the client transition plan, coordinating stakeholders across functional workstreams in close collaboration with commercial and operations teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidating portfolio data for governance and reporting
- Managing RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs
- Assisting with financial tracking and forecasting
- Organising project meetings and documentation
- Overseeing the seamless handover from transition to operations
- Driving change management initiatives
- Resource allocation
- Ensuring lessons learned are captured and embedded into best practices
The role demands strong stakeholder and team management skills, exceptional organisational and communication abilities, and familiarity with project management tools, particularly monday.com. Experience in programme management within facilities management and construction, especially on large-scale government projects, is highly desirable. BPSS clearance is essential.
