We are recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter / Mains Layer for a water infrastructure project in Stockport.
Requirements:
- Blue CSCS Card (Groundworker)
- SSSTS
- City & Guilds Confined Space – Medium Risk
- Experience with temporary works (sheet & frames and trench boxes)
- Ability to work within Water Company PTW systems
Experience Required:
- Deep drainage up to 4.5–5 metres
- Installation of 1200mm–1350mm concrete pipes
- Construction of concrete manholes
- Working from water main drawings and job packs
- Installation of PE pipework
- Reinstatement of valves, hydrants and water network equipment
- Recording bolt torque and completing associated documentation
