Electronics Work Package Manager
Cheadle, Manchester β 6 month duration β Pay rate negotiable β Inside IR35
We are looking for a Work Package Manager to work for our defence client on complex anti-submarine warfare electronic systems. You will have a proven background in managing the delivery of electronic and firmware projects. This will initially be based onsite but can move to hybrid working with 3 days onsite 2 days from home once settled in.

Your role as a Work Package Manager is to deliver complex and priority projects to time, cost and quality to drive the design, development and delivery of electronic sub-systems, from concept through into full production.
Requirements:
- A background in engineering development of complex firmware or electronic units.
- Knowledge of Project Management best practice: Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Compliance Management, Configuration Management and Earned Value Management.
- Proven ability of delivering significant project/programmes on time and to cost.
- Proven ability of project management across the various phases from project conception and initiation through manufacture and qualification to customer delivery.
- Individuals with excellent communication skills able to influence others to their way of thinking.
- Organised with an eye for detail and a sense of pride in what they deliver. xiskglj
Additional Information:
This role will require the successful candidate to be capable of gaining a UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level prior to starting, with a requirement for UK Eyes Only due to the classification of the project.
