We're working with a leading UK engineering and infrastructure contractor who is expanding their major projects division. They are now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with strong MEICA expertise to lead the commercial delivery of large-scale, complex programmes.
This is a high-impact role offering full project ownership, real autonomy, and the chance to help shape a growing commercial function within a well-established business.
The Role
- Take responsibility for the commercial management of £50m+ infrastructure projects, working across the full lifecycle from pre-contract through to final account.
- Lead commercial delivery across major MEICA projects.
- Own financial performance, cost control, and risk management.
- Oversee project controls including forecasting, reporting, and change management.
- Support tendering, estimating, and commercial risk reviews.
- Partner closely with project delivery teams to drive commercial strategy.
- Contribute to building and mentoring a growing commercial team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial role.
- Strong background in MEICA, M&E, or engineering-led projects.
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (£50m+).
- Solid understanding of contracts, commercial frameworks, and project controls.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (or equivalent).
