Morson are recruiting on behalf of our aeronautics client based in Maidenhead. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £45,000 per annum.

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Working hours: Options of 07:30 – 17:00 or 08:00 – 17:30 - Monday-Friday (42.5 hours)

Our client specializes in the development of heavy lift unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) for both civilian and military uses. Located in Berkshire, our operations are notable for their focus on in-house design and manufacturing. This vertical integration means we control the production of most aircraft components on-site, enhancing our ability to innovate and maintain high standards across all stages of development.

What you'll be doing:

  • Demonstrable experience in manual or CNC turning in either plastics or metallics.
  • Positive attitude - able to communicate good practices/ideas to designers and technicians.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings such that parts meet required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with Heidenhain and XYZ Prototrak controls.
  • Prioritize and schedule work according to deadlines, ensuring effective use of machine time and sensible workflow.
