Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance activities on aircraft and aircraft components
- Delegate tasks and authorise maintenance activities within defined trade boundaries
- Ensure airworthiness standards and approved maintenance procedures are maintained
- Carry out and oversee fault diagnosis, inspections, repairs, and component replacement
- Monitor maintenance delivery against programme requirements
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the wider team
- Ensure compliance with approved technical information and safety procedures
- Maintain aviation quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Support a safe and efficient fast jet maintenance environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising mechanical aircraft maintenance activities
- Strong technical competence in aircraft maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Proven leadership experience within a regulated aviation environment
- Good understanding of aviation safety and quality procedures
- Evidence of maintenance currency and recency through logbook records
- Comfortable working within a safety-critical operational setting

- Engineering apprenticeship (Aeronautical or military equivalent preferred)
- City & Guilds 2675 / 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or equivalent recognised qualification
