Rigid/Loading Shovel Operator

Location: LD8 2PL Pay Rate: £22.00-£25.00 per hour Duration: Ongoing Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Morson Edge is currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to work for a leading construction materials business based in Presteigne

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious operator to join a busy site, working with aggregates and asphalt production.

Duties: Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently.

Loading hoppers and feeding materials into the production plant.

Stockpile management and movement of aggregates.

Loading and unloading deliveries.

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.

Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping across site.

Supporting site operations as required.

Requirements: Valid Loading Shovel ticket (CPCS, NPORS or equivalent).

Previous experience operating loading shovels within a quarry, asphalt, aggregates or similar environment.

Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable with a good work ethic.
