We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on a contract basis, working on a fixed social housing site in Lower Clapton (E5 0HL). This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday. No weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out high-quality painting and decorating works within occupied social housing properties.
- Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming.
- Internal painting and finishing to a professional standard.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate professionally with tenants while working in occupied homes.
- Proven experience working in social housing environments.
- Painting & Decorating qualification (NVQ or equivalent).
- Ability to work in tenanted properties and provide excellent customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, professional, and punctual.
- Full-time hours (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm).
- Ongoing contract work.
- Work based on one fixed social housing site.
