We are recruiting for a tenacious MRP Controller to support an initial data cleanse of the SAP system and support the construction and implementation of sustainable processes to prevent recurrence in the future state. In parallel of the initial project this role will segue into the controlled release of orders, Service Order Management, the maintenance of the control of goods inventory system, reviewing and completion of MRP exception reports and certifying incoming materials are on schedule to ensure orders are released within their relative opening period. Through this you will be supporting the business in its achievement of schedule adherence, inventory, and delivery KPIs allowing the business to make the relative informed decisions to support individual project needs.

Core Duties:

  • Effective management of the control of goods inventory system within SAP.
  • Initial support with backlog of unauthorised components.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and validation of Service Orders within SAP Operations.
  • Responsible for the conversion of clean planned orders into production orders within relevant opening periods.
  • Responsible for expedition of incoming material to ensure orders converted on time and supporting risk aversion or providing effective communication for materials that will possibly cause delays.
  • Responsible for control and maintenance of Planned Independent Requirements Rollout and management of MRP exception reports.
  • Ability to gather information about requirements, objectives, and constraints, leading to the development and reporting of relative KPIs within the scheduling function.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, in particular MRP Schedulers and Project Management teams.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and procedures.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiencies.

Budget Holder Responsibility: Yes

Functional Knowledge: 3yrs+ SAP Experience essential, Advanced Excel Knowledge essential, 3yrs+ MRP Experience preferred, Multi Level BoM experience preferred.

Business Expertise: 3yrs+ manufacturing experience required, SC Clearance Required.

Nature of Impact: Required to maintain inventory, WIP and build processes to ensure material captured and rolled up accordingly, indirectly ensuring costs and labour are captured accordingly, sustainable metric performance to allow the business to make informed decisions from SAP data.
