Our client is a leading provider of metering services within the UK energy retail sector and is currently looking for a Meter Reader to join their dedicated Metering team in Kent.
The Role As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for visiting residential and commercial properties to accurately record meter readings for gas, electricity and water meters.
You will use a handheld device to manage appointments, plan efficient routes and record readings accurately. The role involves working outdoors and walking several miles each day, so youll need to be energetic, organised and comfortable working on your own.
Key Responsibilities Visit customers properties to obtain accurate meter readings Read and record gas, electricity and water meter data Plan and manage your daily appointments and routes using a handheld device Walk several miles throughout the working day
