We are seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operative for work at a quarry site in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials to support ongoing production and site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the loading shovel to load, move and distribute materials into hoppers and designated areas.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Work closely with site supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all site health, safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous quarry experience is essential.
- Valid Loading Shovel competency card/ticket.
- MP Connect Card preferred (this can be arranged for the successful candidate if required).
- Full PPE is required, including hard hat, high-visibility clothing, safety boots, gloves and safety glasses.
