Our client is seeking experienced Insulators who are TICA qualified to join their industrial services team at Faslane, for an immediate start on a 4-week contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining thermal insulation systems on industrial equipment, pipework, ducting, and vessels to ensure energy efficiency, safety, and protection of systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and remove thermal insulation materials on pipes, tanks, boilers, ductwork, and vessels.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fit insulation materials and metal cladding.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Apply protective coverings such as aluminium, stainless steel, and other sheet metal finishes.
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and replacement of insulation systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and site procedures.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
  • Work effectively as part of a team on industrial and construction sites.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Current TICA Blue or Gold card.
  • Previous experience as a Lagger or Industrial Insulator.
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and measurements.
  • Knowledge of insulation materials and cladding systems.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and shifts where required.

Shift

Night shift - 20:00 to 06:00

Pay Rates

PAYE - £29.66 per hour
Umbrella PAYE - £39.07 per hour
Lodge Allowance - £53.39 PAYE or £69.40 Umbrella per night for those eligible

Security Clearance

Ideally, candidates will already hold SC (Security Clearance) or BPSS clearance.
